FNOV was advertised from 6 – 10pm. But when I reached Robson St. at 8:30pm I could sense the evening had shifted into low gear. I had hoped to see women in stilettos & skirts darting from store to store. However, Bebe was empty and Banana Republic closed early. Had it not been for two volunteers on the corner of Robson & Thurlow there would have been no evidence FNOV had occurred. They kindly directed me to Guess and French Connection UK.
At the Guess store I saw Florence and her stunning burgundy mini dress. I first saw her at the CBC studio 30-minutes before the runway show. Unfortunately, there wasn’t an opportunity earlier but at Guess she gladly posed for photos. However, when I looked at the photos I felt I could do better. The Guess store was absent of fashionistas so I headed to French Connection UK. She had arrived moments early and was chatting with Charmain (FCUK Marketing) when I snapped these images. I liked these shots much better.
Florence’s company is directly related to FNOV. She’s wearing:
