I met Amanda at a fashion show one week earlier. Today she was modeling a backless Xsenia-Olya dress. The London based designer wasn’t part of this season’s runway show. Instead they had a clothing rack of their 2013 & 2014 collections outside the main ballroom.
I’ve seen this lady “walk” for many different designers at Vancouver Fashion Week. Here she’s on the other end of the camera!
Jenny Xue was Miss Chinese Vancouver in 2009. She currently has a clothing line in China.

Candace moments after the Matis by Lucian Matis show. I recognized her from the Vancouver Fashion Week F/W 2013 show in March! We had a nice chat about how hard it can be (as a model and a photographer) to hear about all the various fashion shows.
Miss World Canada (MWC) 2012 winner Tara Teng was seated in the front row of VFW. She was two seats from Cyrena and myself. She seemed quite friendly and graciously posed for several photographers.
According to the MWC website, the pageant’s mandate is “Beauty with a purpose”. The pageant stresses the equal importance of inner and outer beauty.
Immediately following the George Bezhanishvili collection (the last show of the evening) everyone poured onto the runway. Friends, family and fashionistas congratulated the models and designers. That’s when I took this photo. She was from Korea and looked breathtakingly beautiful. I managed to say “Thank You” in Korean before she ran backstage to change.
Faith is seen wearing an eye catching gown designed by Sentimongla Aier. She was stopped numerous times to pose for photos.
